Achievement for All's anti-bullying training provides staff with the opportunity to look in detail at their school’s approaches to dealing with bullying – in particular the bullying of learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The project helps staff to consider the actions they can take to prevent and deal with bullying, as well as developing their professional practice.
All coaches delivering our anti-bullying workshops are experienced education professionals with a special interest in behaviour and wellbeing. They are highly experienced in delivering this sort of training, and can deliver full day, half day or twilight sessions on your own premises.
Choose between workshops for whole school staff and specific training for governors, teaching assistants, senior leadership teams and learners. Each workshop can be adapted to suit your specific requirements.
Anti Bullying Impact
In partnership with the Anti-Bullying Alliance, the Council for Disabled Children and Contact a Family, Achievement for All initially delivered an innovative programme of work to safeguard children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) from bullying in schools. More than 1,500 schools benefited from the training during the 2016-17 project. Their feedback indicates that 90% of participating schools made a range of improvements, noting changes to school culture in the effectiveness of dealing with SEND bullying.
Our Anti Bullying project is an extension of this programme, and provides training specific to each school.
In a survey, 95% of teachers involved in our Anti Bullying project rated the training as good or excellent, and 99% would recommend the training to others. AfA 2015-16 Impact Report
Anti Bullying Testimonials
"We thought we were well organised within school after giving the subject a high profile over the past few years, but your training day shows that we still have some way to go if we are to achieve our targets.”
– Deputy Headteacher, Middle School, Northumberland
“We have used every bit of the delegate pack, it's had a huge impact. It's the first thing I go to to find a resource, it's pitched perfectly. I was able to take these materials and deliver directly to staff.”
