Reduction in absenteeism

Schools spoken to by PWC also experienced a strong reduction in pupil absenteeism. School Champions reported that their rating of participation and attendance had increased from 5.29 out of 10 to 8.62 out of 10

Pupil confidence

75% of pupils surveyed reported increased confidence in their own ability to achieve better marks at school

Pupil engagement, confidence and self-esteem

The proportion of parents and carers who felt that their child was more confident increased by 34% since involvement in the programme
