Sonia Blandford’s engagement with Achievement for All 3As has been profound, rooted in her personal and professional stories https://afaeducation.org/about-us/
In the coming months her role within AfA will change but not diminish her commitment to both the AfA mission in support of vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people, and to developing a mutual understanding of social mobility.
From 1st April, Karen Iles (currently DCEO) will be Acting CEO supported by Sonia in an ambassadorial and fundraising role, and more broadly by the very experienced AfA senior leadership team https://afaeducation.org/about-us/our-team/our-team/
The AfA board will be leading the succession planning process supported by the AfA Human Resources team.
From 1st September, Sonia will continue as AfA 3As Founder, supporting the transition to new leadership, continuing with her AfA ambassadorial activity, and external professorial roles.
Sonia thanks all AfA 3As colleagues, partners and board for their kindness and support for Achievement for All, ensuring that all children and young people improve their educational outcomes regardless of their background, challenge and need.
